THE PROJECT GOAL.

Our Little Roots is a charming store dedicated to selling fresh and dried flowers, bringing nature’s beauty into homes and special occasions.

 

The client wanted a logo that felt deeply personal, incorporating her two young children into the design. The goal was to create something meaningful and unique while maintaining an organic, natural aesthetic that reflects the essence of the store.

 

Several ideas were explored, each capturing different aspects of childhood, nature, and growth, before narrowing it down to two final concepts.

THE SOLUTION.

The first concept featured the two children’s heads close together, holding hands, forming the ‘OO’ in Roots, with roots extending from the ground beneath them—symbolising their connection to nature and the store’s core values.

 

The second concept, which was ultimately chosen, depicted the children sitting with their backs facing the viewer, perched on a large tree branch. The tree itself had deep roots growing downward, while flowers bloomed at the top, wrapping around to form the letter ‘O’ in Our.

 

This design beautifully captured the sense of family, nature, and the organic cycle of growth, making it a perfect fit for the brand.

THE FINAL RESULT.

The final logo is a delicate yet powerful representation of Our Little Roots. It seamlessly blends the themes of family, nature, and growth into a timeless design.

The tree’s strong roots reflect stability and connection, while the flowers symbolise beauty and new beginnings. The silhouette of the children adds a deeply personal touch, making it not just a business logo but a true reflection of the client’s story.

 

Additionally, the ‘O’ from the logo became a standalone mark, allowing for flexible branding across packaging, signage, and promotional materials. The client loved the final outcome, as it perfectly encapsulated the essence of Our Little Roots.

THE WEBSITE.

The Our Little Roots website has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the brand’s natural and organic feel. Soft, gentle imagery and elegant fonts create a warm and inviting experience for customers looking to buy flowers.

 

The easy-to-use interface ensures a seamless browsing and purchasing process, making it simple for customers to explore the full range of fresh and dried flowers. The website also features a convenient delivery option for selected areas, allowing customers to send flowers as gifts or for special occasions.

 

Additionally, a dedicated section for flower packages, including wedding packages, provides tailored floral arrangements for those looking for something extra special. The final design brings together aesthetics and functionality, creating an online presence that is as beautiful and welcoming as the store itself.
